Easter Sunday 2027 is March 28. Good Friday, March 26, is a school holiday, and it falls the week after Bay District Schools’ spring break. Organizers had not posted 2027 egg hunts when we checked, so the details below are from 2026, with the year marked. We will update this page as 2027 dates come out.

Egg hunts
Bay County Easter Egg Hunt, H.G. Harder’s Park, 8110 John Pitts Road. The county’s 2026 hunt was Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m.; 2027 dates are not out yet. Last year:
- The Easter Bunny arrived at 1 p.m. for photos.
- Four hunt areas by age: 2 and younger, 3 to 5, 6 to 9, and 10 to 12. The youngest group started at 1:30 p.m., with the other ages following one after another.
- Thousands of candy-filled eggs and special prize eggs, free face painting, and food trucks selling refreshments.
Church and neighborhood egg hunts usually appear on organizers’ pages in March. We will list those in Panama City here, with ages and times, as they are posted.
Services
Panama City’s churches post their own Holy Week and Easter service times, usually in March. None had posted 2027 times when we checked. Churches can send us their schedules, including sunrise services by the bay, and we will list them with a link.
