Mother’s Day 2027 is Sunday, May 9. No Panama City restaurant, venue or market had posted a 2027 Mother’s Day brunch or event when we checked; restaurants usually do so in April.   • Panama City Farmers’ Market, Harrison Avenue, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 8, and the Market at St. Andrews, Oaks by the Bay Park, 2715 W. 10th St., 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Both run every Saturday, according to the city’s farmers markets page. See farmers markets.
  • SweetBay Farmers Market, 1980 Discovery Loop, runs Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., so it is open on Mother’s Day itself.
  • Panama City Center for the Arts, 19 E. Fourth St., has an on-site gift shop of locally made items, from jewelry and bags to ornaments, Destination Panama City says. The center is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and until 7 p.m. Fridays, according to its website.
