Four bakeries inside Panama City limits: a cafe bakery downtown, a coffeehouse bakery in St. Andrews, a doughnut shop on Harrison Avenue and a cookie maker.
Last checked Oct. 10, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Panama City’s bakeries are small and spread out: one downtown on Magnolia Avenue, one in historic St. Andrews on Beck Avenue, a doughnut shop on Harrison Avenue north of downtown and a cookie maker on Jenks Avenue north of 23rd Street.
How we made this list. We started with OpenStreetMap records inside Panama City’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, and added bakeries from the state’s food service license and inspection records for Panama City, checking each address against the city boundary. We checked every place against its own website on Oct. 10, 2026. Three bakeries have no working website; the state’s records show each with an active food service license and an inspection this year, and we say so in their entries. Panera Bread on East 23rd Street and Krispy Kreme on West 23rd Street are left out because their store pages would not load for us. Bakeries that sell only packaged goods are licensed by a different state agency and may be missing. A hurricane warning was in effect for Panama City when we checked; call before you go. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run a bakery in the city? Write to us to add or correct your entry.
