Every Panama City where-to-eat list in one place: wings, pizza, Mexican, barbecue, breakfast and coffee, burgers, sushi and Asian, desserts, bakeries and patios.

Last checked Oct. 10, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Panama City’s restaurants gather in a few places: the 23rd Street corridor, where most of the chains are; downtown, around Harrison Avenue and the marina; historic St. Andrews, on Beck and Bayview avenues by the St. Andrews Marina; and 15th Street and U.S. 98 to the west. These lists cover places inside the city limits, so Panama City Beach, Callaway, Lynn Haven and the unincorporated Thomas Drive area are not on them, even where the mailing address says Panama City.

How we made these lists. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Panama City’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, plus restaurants from the state’s food service license and inspection records, each checked against the city boundary and against the place’s own website on Oct. 10, 2026. Places with no website are kept only where state records show an active license and a recent inspection, and each list says which ones those are. Every list is alphabetical. None is a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on any of them. A hurricane warning was in effect for Panama City when we checked; hours on the lists are regular published hours, so call before you go. Run a restaurant? Write to us to correct or add your entry.
